understanding the different types of generation will give you an idea of what kind of student you have.
I have students of all ages and I notice the different learning needs they have. Gen Y relies heavily on I phones and internet, where the boomers and Gen X rely more on conventional note taking and reading.

yes & we need to try to reach all of our learners in ways that they are most comfortable with.

Yes, generally this is the idea but there are some exemptions to the rule such as those poor children or the children that grew up in rural areas, that were not exposed to technological "gadgets".
