Training students & Respiratory Therapists to operate different models of ventilators could be much more easily done with tablet-loaded scenarios & simulations & much cheaper than acquiring multiple actual ventilators to train on.
I use an ipad currently along with an apple TV which allows me to walk around cordlessly. I am aware that tech will change but this might be a consideration for others when making a decision.

I have the same struggles as students do with tablets verses computers; size and activity. Most prefer pc over tablets so far.
