Hesitant at first

I was hesitant at first to introduce a "game" in class. Once we got started the students seemd to appreciate the effort. They enjoyed the game. I will definitely be returning to it in the future. kjc

Kimberli, thank you for having the courage to try an activity outside of your comfort zone. You can find success if you try new teaching methods.

I was hesitant about introducing a "game" to the class; however, it work out extremely well and the students thoroughly enjoyed the "game" and retained the content even longer.

Allen, once you have success by turning the game into an interactive learning activity, it gets easier to use another one.

I to was hesitant to introduce a game, but for teaching Medical Terminology you have to come up with new ideas to keep the students involved. If I didnt do this I know I would sound like the Charlie Brown teacher, and nobody wants to sound like that!

Tshia, I agree, no one wants Charlie Brown's teacher!

The games tend to "stick" with the learners longer and make it more enjoyable.

Diane, I agree that games create higher retention rates and better utilization.
