Do you think supervisors want feedback from supervisees?
I think it all depends on the supervisor. Sometimes we will get kind and understanding supervisors and sometimes we will get close minded supervisors. I've never had a bad supervisor, but I know all supervisors have favorites and will act favorably upon them. I've also met some supervisors that was open to feedback. It honestly depends on the supervisor.
It definitely depend on the supervisor. Everyone is different therefore when it comes to human being we cannot generalize.
I agree that everyone is different, but contsrutice critisim (positives and negatives) are beneficial for performance.
beyond the fact all people are different, depending on circumstances/situations, feedback and asking open-ended questions could help the supervisor see a different perspective with insightful help.
