Facility Description
It's important that the student understands all aspects of all that is involved with the enrollment. My question is why must institutions dimensions be in the catalog?
Christopher,
There are many reasons but at most it's to give a clear picture of what the school actually is. For example you could be in a 10 story office building however your school only occupies the basement level. When we describe the facilities we give an accurate picture of what the student is about to experience.

I believe its important because as I say to a student you need to feel comfortable in the school your attending. Or if the student has a disability they may want to make sure they can use their equipment or wheel chair to get around.

To give a real idea about the building layout...you know, the Empire State Building vs. the Pentagon...!
Anessa,
Absolutely! We need to make sure that their experience at the school is safe and can accommodate them in their needs.

Kenneth,
It also tells about the student experience. How large of the classrooms? Do I have classes on multiple floors, or am I all in one building?
Patty Aronoff
Because if the student is disabled at all, they need to know exactly what kind of space they are required to have to move around.
Andrew,
Students that require accommodations are usually well aware of the process. They must provide medical documentation for the accommodation that they are sick. It will be specific in nature.
