Weekly meetings where we discuss all aspects of admissions to include whether or not to continue contacting leads that have not responded to any communication.

Renee,
Emotional intelligence is an interesting topic. The provides us an opportunity to watch your life with a new perspective.

As you begin your employment there is so many things to learn. Best wishes to you!

Desiree,
Community involvement is the lifeblood for your institution for your students who will go out into the work world. They create the connection that you need to establish with the brand of your school and the quality of the graduates.

David,
They do seem endless! However meetings are important part of our daily activities. They provide us training opportunities and motivation.

Stephanie,

It is a very common practice. We need to see where we are with questions to be answered and how we can improve.

Patty Aronoff

Alicia,

That is a common practice in admissions. Morning meetings and afternoon meetings are mandatory and go over the days activities.

Patty Aronoff

Sisi,

Sharing of knowledge through meetings is very very important. We look to these meetings to make sure that we have the most current and up-to-date information.

Gustavo,

Meetings are an important aspect of life in admissions. We are a team in our efforts and need to make sure were all on the same page.

I attend 2 weekly staff meetings as well as best practices meetings. I attend annual conferences and professional development training. I also attend emotional intelligence workshops.

I am relatively new, so I have yet to attend too many meetings, but I aware that we have weekly meetings. I have been to a few, and we are always kept up-to-date on policies and requirements. We also have discussions about the future plans for our school.

Our institution community meetings are an essential resource for all employees, as various facets of university life are discussed for each division that makes the university whole. More times than not we are majorly exposed to important details that either directly effect our role or we are directly responsible for; however, student success goes far beyond what we see in front of us. This also leads into meetings and involvement with institution committees, service-learning opportunities with the local community, or partnerships and agreements with local businesses.

This is only my second day with ITT. However, just yesterday, I two meetings. Both were informative; and it was gratifying to be able to participate. Communication and staying current as to what how matters are evolving throughout, are integral parts of a successful process...and outcome.

The meeting are endless!! :)

Admissions staff meet quarterly to better understand enrollment projections for individual programs. This is also an opportunity to determine how many seats will be available in my program. An added complexity to our admissions process is the international admissions office and how/what pre-departure information students must have prior to arriving on campus.

Admissions staff also visit the Program Director and Chair meetings 2-3x/year for questions and answer sessions. These exchanges are very helpful.

I think meetings are very important. We have meetings across all Admissions departments from all campuses weekly and we also have meetings 2 or 3 times a week in our specific department. I think these meetings allow us to recap on everything for the week and give room for updates. I would highly recommend every school and department to do this.

We hold meetings twice a day. One in the morning to talk about what we have planned for the day and then again in the afternoon to see how everyone's day panned out. We then have an enrollment team meeting that involves Finance and Admissions, once a week, to give us all updates on what is going on. Following that we generally have a product knowledge training on one of our many programs a week. Every quarter, all the departments get together and have town hall meetings to discuss how the company is doing as a whole and discuss strengths and weaknesses of the previous quarter. All of our meetings are mandatory.

There are 2 meetings every month to make sure that everyone is on track with all the changing rules and regulations.

I attend meeting every month, but in my department we have every two weeks meetings

Migdalia,

Our goal is for student satisfaction, and bringing everyone together to develop strategies to ensure their success is a great way to be all on the same page.
