Tuitions and Fees - Other Fees
While it is only my opinion, but if a student is going to be spending a large portion of money to go to school, the least the institution can do is not charge for an application fee. Just my opinion
When you think about the cost of schooling and the fees applied, it is easy to become frustrated with the extra fees that can be a part of the application process. However, we have to remember that someone has to take the time to enroll the student, review the application, and complete the enrollment process. It is unfair to the school and the employee who spends this valuable time, to not get compensated for this work in the event a student doesn't actually end up attending the school.
I agree. As a previous college student I disliked the fact that every school you applied to you also had to pay an application fee. That can certainly add up. After being on the other side of the admissiosn process, I definately understand the time and effort placed on each student to get them through the admissions process and understand why that fee is in place.
