Reflecting on my own growth in critical thinking and problem-solving, here’s what I’ve learned and how I plan to bring it into my classroom:
Analytical Thinking: I’ve learned to approach complex situations by breaking them down into smaller, manageable parts. In the classroom, I plan to guide my students through this process by encouraging them to analyze case studies step-by-step, helping them learn to identify key issues and brainstorm possible solutions methodically.
Decision-Making: I’ve realized the importance of making decisions based on a clear, systematic approach. In teaching, I’ll model this by walking students through real-life or hypothetical classroom or clinical scenarios. I’ll share how I weigh the pros and cons of each option and invite them to think through decisions with the same level of care.
