catalog information

When information is mistakenly missing from the catalog, should a separate document be created and signed by the student?

Joyce - check with the authorities at your campus but, many schools have a general statement in the catalog that references subsequent addenda. So you may just be able to release/publish an addendum with that information. However, depending on the nature of the ommission, it may require notification and/or a document signed by the student.

We use the catalog addendum here.

Typically an Addendum is written to cover missed or miss prints.

We also use the catalog addendum. We maintain an up to date addendum and each catalog that is given out also has an addendum with it.

Yes, we have an addendum to the catalog that will cover any missing or updated itmes for the catalog.

We also use the catalog addendums and contract addendums. They have informatiom that might have been missing from the catalogs and contracts. You want to make sure everything is covered and that the addendum is signed by the student just to show they understand those rules as well as the ones published in the catalogs.

Excellent point, Kelsey. These addenda contain the most current information and should be the source of reference, along with the catalog itself, for students with regard to policies.
