In this module, I learned about the Florida-specific regulatory requirements that govern postsecondary institutions, including compliance with CIE regulations, fair consumer practices, and disclosure policies.

 Understanding these guidelines ensures ethical admissions practices and protects students’ rights. I plan to apply this knowledge by ensuring transparency in student communications and adhering to all compliance standards.

It is very important to provide all the information to students around tuition cost. 

What we say or express in writing must match what is displayed on our website and other communication. When marketing there are specific guidelines to follow so as to maintain compliance and transparency, this includes costs, resources, length of programs, and as admissions representatives we must have a strong familiarity with the enrollment agreement. 

The information provided to students must be true and clear, and we must not hide it so that the student makes a correct decision. That is why this module explains the importance of information transparency.

This module taught me that you must stay up to date on the state requirements, have up to date catalogs and enrollment agreements as well. All these documents should line up and clearly state to the student all their requirements for class. 

I learned that it is important to be up-to-date with the state's requirements and then see how your institution has implemented it. Disclosure to potential students and current students is a top priority.  

I've learned that It is important to be compliant and transparent with prospective students and it is essential to share with them only accurate information that you can provide documentation for.  

The rules and regulation protect the student and the school.

It is actually much better both for the student and the institution to fully disclose tuition early in the conversation

I learned about compliance, truthful advertising , and that for profit schools are highly regulated to ensure they are not taking advantage of students.

Always good to be reminded of key points.

Student information must be protected due to the FERPA law. I also learned about the policies that are governed by each institution.

I 've learned compliancy and transparency are related to know your rules, regulations, and policies, in order to be able to guide correctly to the prospective students for achieving their goals.

Transparency is a must

I learned that advertising must be accurate, truthful, and be able to be proved. It is not permissible to use exaggerated words or terminology, or make promises that cannot be implemented.

 to be compliant with all the state's regulations and institution's policies so we offer applicants current and proven information about every aspect of the admission and enrollment process.
