So then what is the middle ground, and how many times do you change your plan of action?
I really don't know. I guess you change your plan of action until you come up with one that works.
Each institution and individual finds their own middle ground, based on circumstance and pre-disposition. What is middle ground to you, Faith?
No one responds well to uncertainty, Crystal. Constant change in practice and procedure undermines students' faith in the instructor and institution. Certainly, it is important to change things that aren't working, but it probably is more important to think things through clearly before acting so as to minimize the need to change your plan of action.
Are you sure there is a middle ground? Don't individual students require individual attention?
As mentioned in my comment, I assist the students with the applications, but they are ultimately responsible for the obtained results.
