Motivating students can be challenging. Stay true to yourself and your personal style of teaching. Motivation can be infectious when you are passionate about the subject matter and care about the success of the students.

I agree motivating students can be challenging especially with today's students and the use of technology. trying to keep thinking the way they do and seeing what motivates the young learners is key in motivation in the classroom

I agree your motivation and energy is transfered tothe class and even the most dry die hard na sayers will fall in and learn. Bear in mind there is always one or two who dont want to learn and cant wait to leave,

Cindy....you are right on target with the technology bit. Some of my students do not want to learn new technology....think it is a waste of time. I try to find some videos in the students field of study to enhance that technology is here for everyone! I think this helps with motivation as well!

I'm using blackboard and it's constantly upgrading which is problamatic.

Motivating students can be challenging.  I find that when the instructor is knowlegable about the content, the students seem to be motivated with a little ease.
