In my courses, we have a large amount of information that students must cover for each course. It is very important that they do so in order to grasp the concepts that they will need to demonstrate competence. With this in mind, I am trying to go from an understanding level to more emphasis on analyzing. So, here goes

I believe that the levels of Bloom's are all important and that students would "buy in" more if they are all introduced to the students in a way that includes the importance. This could give students motivation to want to achieve the highest level that they can because they will have an understanding and common goal with the educator.
My plan is to have a mini-lesson on Bloom's with my classes and use choice boards that have various activities under each level.
Changes that I entend to & are currently implementing are.
I have found that only pre planned abcences, or proven issues that arose just before the test, should be reasons to allow the test ot be taken after the test deadline, and then, be sure to chage the test for thst student, or students.
I haven't been teaching for very long, but I've definitely noticed that working on affective performance objectives would be very useful. Everything starts with student attitude and motivation, and if you can't encourage and guide them, it all turns sour. The students that succeed in the field are the ones who go the extra mile, care about what they do, and are dedicated to continuously improving their skill set. It's difficult to watch a student put in the bare-minimum, but you can only want their success as much as they do. However, I've also seen students whose attitudes towards their… >>>

Being an educator for the 10+ years it is always good to expend your knowledge. The central idea of the course is that the learning must be student centered. Unfortunately it is not always possible to have desired flexibility to accomodate all different styles of student learning.
Most of what I ahave seen jibes with what I have learned in other courses. However, some of the content did not reflect current sources in media, instructional material, assessment and evaluation. Has there been any new innovations? Perhaps what is presented represents how our educational system has become stagnated.
Perhaps, we will get to that as I progress through.
A persons personality can impact their performance as a teacher. Be genuine.
THE MAIN ISSUE OF LEARNING IN ORDER TO CORRECT UNWANTED BEHAVIORS BY MAKING THE STUDENTS PARTICIPANTS OF THE SOLUTIONS.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ACQUIRING EXPERIENCE THROUGH COMMUNITY WORK WILL HELP IN TWO VERY IMPORTANT WAYS, IT WILL HELP THE STUDENT TO LEARN AND SEE THE PRACTICALITY OF WHAT HE LEARNED AND SECONDLY IT WILL BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY BY RECEIVING HELP AND SERVICES THAT OTHERWISE THEY WOULD NOT.
PARTICIPATION IN SOLVING THE COMMUNITY'S NEEDS AND PROBLEMS WILL MAKE OF THE STUDENTS BETTER MEMBERS OF THOSE AND MAKE CHANNEL THEIR TIME INTO SOLUTIONS INSTEAD OF CREATING SOME ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS.
According to Practical Applications for Adaptive Learning (ED128) course, it is the power of Data that is fundatmental to improving the performance of individual students. Pardon me if I believe the correct answer should still be educator, who motivates the student to use Adaptive Learning tools in the first place.
I can't agree more on promoting students' self-regulation skills in evaluating self, monitoring the progress and working on strategies to achieve final goals with some assistance from the instructor. Learning is a two-way street and students have some responsibilities too.
Preparation of course content and ability to teach to meet each student's personal learning styles is key.
I felt this course had good big picture tips to incorporate into course instruction. My top take-aways
1. accurately assessing student's background knowledge and readiness to comprehend course material
2. break up topics into small units to allow for improved retention and comprehension of subject matter
3. vary instructional material to address a variety of learning styles.
4. I also liked the tip on how to keep standards high in the course, as being interpreted as having higher expectations for student learning. I.e. not that the course material is so difficult only few can master, but that I must insist… >>>
I particularly like the comment early in the class that UDL is not really something that is achieved in its entirety but is rather something of a ongoing journey towards a goal. There are some areas that I struggle to imagine a different way of having students respond - for example, if I am teaching a writing course, I need them to write. Certainly adaptive technology for disabilities is 100% fine, but the final product has to be written. On the other hand, I can see opportunities for me to do a better job with this - for example, I… >>>
I have gotten a new way to use in my lecture and practical teaching I loved the one of were I get the students to do a journal were the students can show what they learned and where they are having trouble understanding it gives me the opportunity to help the students where they need the help in . This Also has shown me the importance of different learning methods I can relate to my job as an instructor of cosmetology and barber. It was a very enforcement information to be a better instructor for my students.
This course has given me more tools that I can use to help my students to have other ways to understand and succeed in their career. I liked the role playing method and judging that I can implement and improve my teaching skills. One of the method that I will implement in my teaching skills is to give students the opportunity to to do a journal this will help me and my students to see what they understand and where they are confused this methods we'll let me help the students where they need help. I have had different challenges… >>>
