Great insight on information and ways of teaching student 

If you love the subject matter your students will flourish.

The course was quite interesting as and experience instructor. Psychology classes should have some case studies with no right or wrong answer but real world situations.

I,m going to vary the style of information delivery from one generation to the other so all student feel confortable they are recieving the information they need to be successful.

It was refreshing to learn about the terms security and autonomy with regards to how to influence student motivation.  For me this new information is a form of constructivism.

I believe it's important to take the time to enhance our class delivery and enforces all the key components of our most resent training. 

It's important to allow the adult student to feel that the information they are presenting to the class during an activity or project, are part of what they work on during the Autonomy process.  

Repetition with concepts till it becomes second nature.

Motivate students to be engaged in discussion. Be creative and making it interesting/excite thier interest/tell them relevant stories and make it fun.

Connect and be relevant to their generation

Constant feedback (both positive and opportunities) 

Allow students to state concepts,demonstrate and re demonstrate and encouarage and allow them to teach for reinforcement and retention.

the student set the tone of the rest of their experience with you and the class. be sure they come in knowing their going to have a great day Most instructors forget how important the greeting is. Food for thought.

This course opened my eyes to the challenge instructors face keep students interested and motivated daily.  Being a former adult student through several degree programs, I recalled how I could see some of the instructors I had struggling to maintain student intrest and those instructors who utilized numerous ways to keep students motivated to and beyond graduation.

I plan ti use the skills learned in this course to improve as a new instructor.  Rereading the tips and advice in this course will be a priority.

To help with student digital literacy I like to have the student create a blog instead of having a notebook.  

Having the ability to show empathy to ecah students is an effective tool, I have used in class.

This course was excellent. I will have a better plan for my classes, even down to the seating arrangement. Retention has increased greatly.

In reviewing coursework I had completed, I looked back at this information and realized how I had incorporated the one very important lesson. I created a program for students to stay "connected" to the program when they were out for a term or two.  I realized that the information or workshops had to have relevancy to keep them coming to the campus when they had no other motivation.

The first day of class, I first relate several key facts about my past starting at my college days in the late 80's, and then quickly run through my diverse work history since college the first time.  I then explain how I decided to go back to college at the age 33 after being out for 8+ years and then decided to pursue my masters.  While reviewing my work experience I highlight jobs that pertain to the class I am teaching to help the students understand how the course relates to the real world.  I then play a game where… >>>

I learned about if you give respect you get respect.

The information presented in this module was useful. I still need more practical tasks, or examples of what it would look like to apply these motivation strategies to the class every day. I will use the suggested technics every day. I will plan to list them and apply consistently. I will follow this plan for 30 days in order to collect results and assess.
