The Teaching in Career Education Group is for instructors teaching in career education institutions to discuss topics related to instruction and student learning.
i am new to teaching, and have the new teacher nerves. i am going to stay positive, and then try to use many different types of teaching, so as to best help the students to comprehend what the meterial is about.
I actually envy you. I have been an instructor for 15 years. The happiest memories are when I first started. Students because you are new will TEST you. You just hope and pray you come up with the answer their looking for. The first years are exciting and will make you feel you are on top of the world. The courses are excellent. I just wish that we could have taken them when I started. I wish you the very best.

I am still somewhat new. I have changed my teaching methods just a little each time I start a new term. I feel like I have evolved so much. Im sure I will continue to make small changes as I move along. Reading the students and wathing their reactions seems to help me alot.
I will be starting in february! I am very nervous and excited. I think that the lab portions of my curriculum will be easier for me to teach than the lecture, based on my vast hands-on experience. I plan to try multiple teaching styles to see what works best for me! Good luck to you James!
