Retention

I have just started RT101 and realized that it would be beneficial to have a discussion group forum during the course and not reserved for comments after completion.  I think the interaction would create more engaging opportunities for participants. The sames rules for retention could be applied to faculty who are seeking continuing ed credits.

Hi Nancy! Absolutely, discussion is the key to participant interaction as well as sharing questions, examples, best practices and lessons learned! Actually, each online course, including RT101, has discussion forums, during the course, to encourage interaction on topics and applications. Simply go to any of the discussion forums or threads in the course - there you can interact with the course's facilitator and other current participants plus review the many archived posts from former participants as well. Though the post-course Performance Forums and The Lounge are excellent places to continue and expand discussions, the course itself is the foundational place to interact.
