What I learned in this was the online learning environment and face to face environment.

I believe that it is important to create an environment that fosters open communication and creates a positive campus climate in an effort to reduce student retention.

I learned that rubrics are an authentic assesment tool to simulate real life activity where students are engaged in solving real life problems.

I learned that a subjective test is evaluated by giving an opinion.  They are more challenging to prepare, adminster and evaluate correctly.

I learned that assessment in an educational setting is a process that uses measurable terms in order to assess knowledge, attitudes, skills, and beliefs.

I learned about the importance of asking stuents for feedback on assessing tools.

I learned about the importance of being organized.

I learned as an instructor, how important the need to evaluate student learning.

I learned about the importance of knnowing the difference between synchronous and asynchronous learning and how to use both in the online learning environment.

I learned the importance of choosing the right technology to help the learning process.
