Questions can begin an exchange within the class. Students must feel comfortable to ask questions and not be ridiculed.

Technology can enhance a lesson if used properly.

Planning lessons and what they should contain is extremely important.

If I am unsure of an assessment's validity, I can ask a colleague. 

Assessments need to be authentic and measure the previous content delivered.

Questions must be presented to the learners in which they can understand.

A lesson should try to address as many learning styles as possible.

Students must be aware that there will be an opportunity to share their retention of the material. Don't let the medium be the test. Let the student's retention of material be measured in the best way for the student.

Sometimes instruction doesn't go as planned. Have a plan B ready.

Students like to learn by doing.
