Reply to Mel Henderson's post:I agree, approaching the student from their own perspective and frame of reference makes it easier to help facilititate the executive functions for the student to be responsible for their her own learning.

Reply to Mel Henderson's post: I agree, presenting materials in various formats and contexts reach more individual learning styles and lessons will also be more interesting and engaging. 

Reply to Angela Zaugg's post: I am also new to the concept of universal design for learning. I am looking forward to applying this framework to my daily lesson plans. 

Reply to Alex Ladzinski's post: I agree, you must have a back up plan. It always takes me for a loop when the school loses wifi. Unfortunately, even with a backup plan, I spend a lot of time shifting gears.

Reply to Angela Zaugg's post: I agree, this module provided a good review of teaching to the various learning styles. I, too have found that using the LMS system can save a lot of time, especially in regards to grading.   

Reply to Satwinder Bindra's post: I agree, there are many resources available to enhance student knowledge using technology. Technology provides them with unlimited resources. I have found that most Learning Platforms have resources for accomodating students with disabilities.

"Building Student Agency" raises awareness of what they are capable of achieving and pushes them to do more than what they thought were capable of. I plan on utilizing building student agency in the classroom.

SWOT strategies help close gaps by providing flexibility and promoting equality. I already use exit cards, but I am going to incorportate Four Corners.

That creating opportunities to fail is beneficial to the learning process, as failure provides a deeper understanding to make lasting connections. I plan on designing lessons to incorporate productive failures.
