I enjoy learning more about the low and high risk active learning activities and how to manage barriers. I am a fan of discussions, per the lesson discussions are great for motivating students to investigate further. I will continue implementing discussions. 

I loved the examples of active learning activities provided and I intend to implement discussions, debates, and role-playing. 

Maintaining professional image and being overprepared. 

I learned the best position for the instructor during testing, I did not realize walking around the room may create anxiety. I also gained a better understanding of strategies to implement for the silent student. 

I gained a better understanding of the different types of students in the class such as the center-stage student and how to manage them. 

I learned some ways to incorporate how to start the class using cognitive and psychomotor skills.

Understanding the different measures that may be taken such as sanctions like mandatory counseling, no contact order and suspension. 

I learned that the VAWA jurisdiction is more limited than Title IX which is important to know regarding reporting. I also learned that because a criminal investigation is dropped the Title IX/VAWA investigation will still continue. 

I have a better understanding of the role of the Title IX coordinator and how things should operate if located at a smaller university. 

I've gained a more thorough understanding of the policies within Title IX and VAWA.
