There are so many possibilities of displaying video applications to the field of Anatomy & Physiology which is what I teach. It is almost impossible to teach what goes on metabolically through pictures, diagrams and text alone. Videos help convey these processies to students and are professionally produced. My students and I are very grateful to those who prvide this opportunity. Both Art and Technology merge.
Video resources are helpful tp students that are visual learners.
I agree video is so very helpfull to a point so I will never rely on them 100% but seeing videos helps so much along with hands on.
I teach psychology and I use many youtube videos in my course. I also show the students how often psychology is discussed in programs like The Big Bang Theory and The Office. They are amazed at how often they pick out psychological terms and concepts in shows that they watch.
