using a checklist
I find it very helpful to use index cared and have a summary of the days topids written out This way when I enter a new term or semester I can pull out card for that day and use it as a reference

I agree, having your lesson written out will ensure that I cover all key points of that days lesson, simply relying on memory is a sure way that I will miss an important part of my lesson.
