Delivery Methods

I have found the most effective delivery method to course material is when I use an example from when I was in the field and open the class to discussion on how that scenario can lead to other situations related to the course content.

Kyle,
Students love hearing stories and examples from the field. The more you use examples the more value they associate with the content being shared as well as increasing their engagement in the course.

I too find that students love to hear stories. They enjoy hearing scenarios from our experiences on the field. This makes them feel free to air their fears, and give them an opportunity to discuss how they would deal with a particular situation. Some of these scenarios are humorous and this lighten the mood of the class and stimulate interest in the lesson.

Carrette,
My students like stories as well. These stories help the students to see the relevance and application of what is being taught and as a result their motivation levels increase.
