Lighting is very important to enhance productivity and learning in the classroom. If applicable, blinds on windows should be opened so that students can enjoy the full brightness of the sun and keep the students awake and ready to learn.
music is beneficial in the learning process because it helps the brain get ready for learning.
Using light and color in a classroom can make it more inviting to students. Music can also be used to set the mood and enhance the learning environment.
It is important to use visual and auditory stimuli when you can to help improve the classroom environment. I use music in my classroom while students have work time and I feel it helps them focus.
The variation of how the music affects learning based on the tempo was really interesting.
This will help layout the classroom to suit the needs of myself and the students. i personally cannot concentrate with music playing but would be open to trying it
Peripherals in the classroom and the importance of color, but I was so impressed about the music to stimulate the alpha waves that I googled it and an now listening to it while completing this course. I will definitely be using this during practical exercises.
I'm going to try something new, adding music to the background while i listen to the lectures. I'll update as soon as i figure out the result.
Importance of classroom orientation (seating, decore, etc.) - as well as overall structure as it pertains to time management and stimulus (musis, visual, etc.)
The seating arrangement in a classroom can impact learning. I prefer not to assign seating, because I feel like there is very little a student has control over in the learning environment, and allowing them to choose their own seats gives them some control.
Music has always brought poeple together. Non specific music avoids personal internal conflict and class arrangement facilities enhanced learning.
I learned that the smallest things that make the biggest difference, such as having the shy student sit closer to you and how music has a positive impact in the classroom, if used appropriately.
