All above has the potential to improve students' academic performance. However, the negative side is that it also has the potential to diminish students' critical thinking skills if they rely on technology for everything they are going to do, or if they use it to do their work rather than as a support tool.
I would like to encourage the use of AI to help them understand. I would hope and encourage them to back up whatever answer AI gives them with another reliable source such as their textbooks.
