I've learnt that being in compliance requires keeping as much up to date information as possible and comprehending the institution's regulations.

Hello everyone,

I am grateful for these modules. This will be my first position as an admission representative, and this course will give me the much-needed tools to succeed. I learned the importance of becoming familiar with the rules and regulations to comply with the Commission for Independent Education and the other regulatory Body.

In order to comply with regulations admissions representatives need to be up to date with current policies, be knowledgeable of terminology and procedures.  The institutional catalog is of most importance.

As an Admissions representative I've learned about the importance of regulations, changes and modifications. The admissions training will help me be an informed representative.

Hello, this is my third year as admissions advisor and this module has been very helpful.

Learning what to say and how to say has been helpful.

I learned the difference between a course and program, which was really helpful. I learned that there are rules set in place on the things you talk about to potential students.

As a representative of my school, I have learned that the admissions policy is vitally important and I intend to keep abreast of the rules and regulations to periodically update my staff.

In this module, I learned the importance about the admissions process and policies to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. I will apply this by following the procedures to provide prospective students with correct information.

I learned that you have to know details about not only the college I work for, but also details about the rules as they pertain to Florida.  I have to keep my knowledge current about my college and the rules I have to follow.

I am new to the admission process. It is good to know that this process is regulated and well defined.

I learned about the difference between a course and a program and the importance of staying updated and the rules and regulations in order to remain compliant with the CIE

Hello I´ve learned how important it is to maintain updated notebook, or space for all Admissions information. I´ve also learned that by asking other departments for updated information, I can have a complete view over the compliance in each area of the institution!  It´s been insightful.

I learned that you need to take your time through each module as I do with my students.

The FAPSC Admissions Staff Training Program enhanced my understanding of ethical recruitment, student-centered communication, and data-driven decision-making. As a director for an Online Division, I will apply these insights to develop a more strategic, transparent admissions process, train my team on consultative approaches, and ensure compliance, ultimately improving enrollment outcomes and the student online experience.

I appreciate the protections put in place for students and how these regulations help us serve students ethically and with consistency.

During the module I learned that admissions always has important policy and terms. As an admission advisor, it is my role to always know the most up-to-date policy changes and create a notebook reference to help me speak knowledgably about my institution.

I learn that it is important to know the admission policies and procedures when enrolling student. Also, creating a notebook to keep resources is beneficial to stay up to date with changes as they are made.

From my experience with CM201 – Admissions Compliance for Postsecondary Schools in Florida, I’ve learned how vital it is for admissions staff to uphold transparency, fairness, and compliance in all aspects of the admissions process. The course provided detailed insights into Florida’s statutes and regulations, particularly Sections 1005.04 and 1005.34 of the Florida Statutes and Rule 6E-1.0032 of the Florida Administrative Code.

One key takeaway for me is the importance of providing accurate and complete information to prospective students. This not only builds trust but also ensures the institution maintains its credibility and avoids any legal consequences. I’ve also come to understand how crucial it is to familiarize myself with my institution’s specific policies and services, as these are integral to guiding applicants effectively and ethically.

I've worked in Admissions for over 18 years, this module shows the importance of keeping abreast of proper admissions terminology as well as keeping up to date on policy and maintaining an organized reference binder/notebook.
