It is important to know the rules and regulations of the institution. We cannot guarantee placement but can provide the tools and resources.
The guarantee of a job puts the school in a very delicate position. Some people love the profession they are entering but are not quite as good at it as they would like to be...if they cannot find a position .... the school can be sued for not complying with their guarantee.

It is important to stay up to date on policies, rules and regulations in order to provide students, and applicants correct information. Transparency is also talked about and it is important that students do not have unrealistic expectations like job placement guarantee.

Each institution is different but you have to know what is your role in the place and know about other departments so you can refer them to them if they need more assistance with financial aid or if the students need tools to build a resume, time management or help them with stress.
Depending on the applicant type, there are different ways to enroll a student. It is important to follow the rightful procedure to an applicant based off of what they are looking for.
Knowing what services the school offers to students and being able to guide them in the correct direction is a win
I learned about the need to include information in our institutions' documentation required by the state's rules and regulations. It is important to learn which requirements are established by law and which ones are at university level.
I was unaware of the CIE meeting being open to the public. This also reinforced the importance of knowing the admissions requirements of my institute.
Cannot guarantee employment, must keep records, must inform students of any requirements to attend classes on site if hybrid program is offered.
That as an institution we are there to support and help students find a good but can not guarantee one at the end of a program.
There is no promising students that they will be employed after completing the program.
