ED 101

After forty years as a professional educator, it was refreshing to renew skills and validate practices that I have used in a variety of instructional settings.  All of my teaching experiences have been with the traditional public school students.  Now that I am an instructor of non-traditional, adult learners, I have learned to modify my instructional preparation, content/skill delivery and student engagement practices.

I've been teaching, off and on, for almost 40 years myself.  It *was* great to refresh my memory of how to do a few things.  Plus I learned some new ways to do old stuff, and some really new things I'd not known before.  All told, a great use of my time.

I have been teaching for about 5 years and thought this was a great professional development class. I was impressed by all the different delivery methods that were used throughout the class. The class kept my attention and reminded me of different techniques I need to use to assist my student in their success throughout their education.

I actually enjoyed this class  .There is a lot of these tecniques that maybe without really knowing I was using..That was vere re-assuring!...I guess I have been giving to my students the kind of teaching I want to have myself if I were a student . The course also enlightened me to do better ,incorporate variation to my lectures to make them more enticing for the students...Its good to know I was and I am going in the right direction.

And I hear you do a very good job of it! Keep up the good work.
