My intention is to police the operation in the hopes and desires that the student(s) respond properly and in a timely fashion.
I have learned that it will be a constant effort in order to make sure the students progress. The technology tools will have to be assessed frequently.
Providing guidance and feed back is essential. Also, introduction at the beginning of the course may help students progress.
Facilitation and messaging are important.
I learned that both syncronous and asyncronous can work. Communication and organization is very important.
I learned that I will be constantly reviewing and investigating existing and new tech tools.
Using pre and post test in f2f works well for me. I learned that pre and post in this arena may make the class better.
Feedback strikes me as a good way to energize the class. Summative and formative assessments are important. But using the tools described in this information, a rubric may be a fair way to assess individuals/groups and peer functions.
I need to add, since my expertise is construction, scaffolding is important. But if I may add another, foundation is most paramount, in my experience.
Direction, or moreover a tourguide approach to help and guide the students will definitely be one of my objectives. Communication is very important.
