I can promote group activities that will increase the learning experience.

Students become empowered in the classroom through repetition of communications and by working with familiar technology. Instructors should allow students to use their devices for educational learning. I promote asking why in my clinical rotation and allow the students to google the facts they need to further their education. We have a wealth of knowledge in our hands each day and learning to research  for education is just part of being modern.

Each student is going. to learn differently and at heir own pace  identifying each students strengths and weakness and using that to build there confidence in passing course .   whether they pay attention to their peers or the instructor can reach each student in different ways without taking too much from the class

Students should be encouraged to participate in the classroom as an active learner.  Active learning increases confidence and improves interacting skills.

This course taught me that the students need to be empowered to be active learners in the class room rather than passive learners. To prevent students to use technology in the class room nowadays is close to impossible in this new system of learning / education. It is rather advisable to involve students and encourage them to explore all variety of resources to gain knowledge.

Use of technology can be very empowering for students. I plan on using it much more.

Have to be able to relate to the current generation utilizing technological tools to interest and empower them

Students know more about technology than I do!

Students will always need encourgement and need to feel valued and feel like they can be successful.

keeping students engaged with their own experiences

It is very hard for me to find icebreakers that don't feel cheesy and forced. I try to incorporate getting to know my students and building rapport in different ways.

Not just taking the class, but making the class!  Making sure each and every student is able to showcase their individual skills, talents, experiences, growth, and knowledge leads to ownership of the learning experience.  I do get to know my student's goals and career aspirations.  I like to show them how relevant what they are learning is to their future success.  I liked learning about the learning and growing method or building on experiences and immediately using new information as a strategy to increase student investment in the learning process.

I have struggled with students using technology during class, and i would like to see more tools developed for how to encourage productive use of technology. I tend to see students finding ways to distract themselves while taking notes on a laptop or tablet, and while I want technology to be integrated into their learning I think it should not be encouraged as the only way that they are engaged

Student participation, reflection and active collaboration

Promoting technology use ensures students can undertake research or search for information and pursue learning.

This module provided abundant information, emphasizing the reinforcement of students' self-confidence, linking to past life experiences and course material, and concentrating on student expectations. These crucial elements aim to leverage students' strengths, potentially yielding a substantial return on their investment.

Providing opportunities to empower students can enhance overall student success throughout the course.  Providing ample use of technology can also increase student access to information and empower students to make a seamless transition from learning in the class to applying and continuing their learning outside of the classroom.

Technology is a great way to create active learners and promote student growth and participation
