Thank you for sharing. I am a new teacher and realize I have a long way to go before I am a well oiled machine. I love to study nursing and articles related to how the body works so I hope I can being a standard of excellence my students deserve from a college level instructor.

Keep up with current events and news about the area that is being taught. I use video also. I ask them to send me links also. I will also put a list of other books or videos they may want to look at or read. t

I have found that using a professional advisement / curriculum advisement board lends itself to helping you select which content to build into a course

When creating an upgrade or new course, it is a fantastic idea to incorporate current and graduate students because they can contribute their experiences in the industry.

I like the idea of having students supply the content! When I teach argumentative writing, I use current events and topics for writing assignments. Students need to find their own sources for their papers. I am constantly reading newspapers to come up with new topics. When assignments are about really current topics, there is less opportunity for students to plagiarize or use AI chatbots to complete their work. I also went through training for OER sources. i love Mrs. Danashanti approach, she covers all the bases from an over all objective and then builds the steps to get there.
