Helpful to better understand to apply to how students learn
The fact that instructor personality traits may or may not naturally fit the traits of a successful instructor, is really good to know and makes a lot of sense when comparing instructors who do or do not implement active learning techniques more naturally as well. Active learning techniques parallel a lot with the needs of all the TCs. It incorporates and encourages student Commnication (for high Blue), enforced and detailed rubrics (for high Gold), challenging learning situations instead of rote memorization and lecture (for high Green) and can also incorporate more flexibility for (high Orange).
Staying organized in the classroom will help when offering multiple learning options for the different learner personalities.
As instructors, we can learn the various learning styles students have and then incorporate various activities that align with their natural learning and personality traits to ensure individual success in the learning process.
I learned how much dominant blue personalities need to be of service to others so they would be more likely to actively participate in and enjoy peer review.
Comment on Lori Riordan's post: You can incorporate different learning environments by giving choices or options on projects.
By understanding your own personality ,it will help you understand how you are coming across to the students in class. Also by spending the time to get to know your student's personalities and preferred learning styles you can develop assignments that have more than one option to submit their findings. If you enjoy what you are teaching, the students will probably get more of your lectures.

It is important for the instructor to allow for multiple options for class activities to cater to the different learning styles and TC colors personality traits; having said that, many course (especially in the online format) at the universities today tend to be develop by structural designers in a more standardized fashion that in my opinion tend to take away from the instructors vs students possibilities of adapting and accommodating their personality traits to set their learning needs.
I would like to encourage my students to take a TC personality test to understand their learning. I may incorporate this in the personality section of my class.
I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how both instructor and learner personality traits significantly influence the teaching and learning environment. Recognizing and addressing different personality traits, such as those described by the TC personality assessment (blue, gold, green, and orange), allows for a more inclusive, balanced, and effective classroom experience. The information highlights the importance of self-awareness in instructors, encouraging them to reflect on their own strengths and weaknesses while also adapting to the diverse personalities of their students.
I learned that our students have different personalities so in order to become an effective professor, we must be flexible.
I have learned that personality traits are an important core factor in designing activities that align with the interests of my students. As an instructor, I must understand students' personalities to formulate an activity that best suits their interests. Creating a group activity that caters to all TC spectrums will ensure engagement, collaboration, and a sense of achievement for the students who are diverse in terms of personalities. Knowing these takeaways will greatly help me to perform all my duties and responsibilities as a teacher.
My understanding here is how you fit your teaching style to different student personality colors, the challenge here is if groupings will be done, their will a mixed of style to be considered of
