Positive thoughts as well as energy will allow the student to be able to excel beyond their current self-limitations.

A Positive Attitude will trump a negative attitude.

Good begets good.

Positive psychological training is very important for teachers.

The perma terms are great because they distill down the basics people often overlook in favor of what's cool. Engaging in thinking about thinking also helps because people become trapped in routines and often overlook self-reflection.

I like the daily reflection exercise, this is something I am going to incorporate to my teaching. The students and myself will benefit from it. Every day I set the tone for class, I play positive music and setup the oil diffuser and my students really enjoy it. I now have more tools for a more positive teaching and learning experience after this course. I really enjoyed it!

I will utilize the PERMA assessment daily in my personal and professional especially when interacting with faculty, students, and colleagues.

This was a really cool that talked about the PERMA Model and how it can be benifical in the Education System. I really enjoyed learning about Strength Spotting and how it can boost someone's confidence.

Support to a less than confident learner and encourage success. Point out the strong points and how their past experiences can help in over coming a challenge or meet a goal.

I enjoy learning about the different ways to use and apply PERMA. It is also helpful and refreshing to hear about the emphasis on prioritizing your well-being. As educators, I feel like that is often frowned upon or put on the back burner. I look forward to learning more about positive psychology.

Positive comment are a great way to encourage students to try things they are not comfortable with.

positive psychology is essential in teaching. It promotes healthy mindset, self efficacy, self esteem; increases happiness, and decreases stress. Positive education creates creativity, happy and resilience students

I've learned from this module to be more conscious of my perspective and well-being on a daily basis. I want to experiment with the PERMA assessment at the end of each the day, which I think is the similar practice of "gratitude" journaling, and find out if the specific "reflection" questions help me maintain a positive well-being or add to negative thinking because I didn't experience or accomplish all of the "reflection" elements.

To utilize and familiarize myself to PERMA

Positive psychology can enhance well-being

I Am intereses in positive Psychology applied to education because, ir has a great potencial to Help students to flourinsh and grow up

I've gained a formal understanding of positive psychology, which I previously knew only in an intuitive and informal way. More importantly, I've learned that as a professor, I can use and implement models such as PERMA and Character Strengths with both myself and my students, making a positive impact on their academic journey.

I have learned some of what I sort of already knew, that positive responses to even the most negative events can help anyone manage better and even thrive. I learned ways to articulate this to others, rather than just having a nebulous internal concept that I struggled to communicate. New tools to use with my adult students as they navigate the world of work, family and school all rolled into one.

I liked that what I learned fell right into how I view the world and my own life.  It helps to know these things so that I can make sure to exhibit them to the students and not just assume that they know them.  Everyone is at a different level in their own awareness and, as instructors, it is our job to help them dig deeper.

Comment on GURKAMAL SIDHU's post: This is a good idea. Students as well as instructors of some level of stress. Relaxation techniques could be beneficial to all. Introducing this type of exercise at the end of class may help build a positve rapport with students.
