Nonverbal communication can be effective as verbal, many people tend to read the body language than to listen to the speaker, a person who smile, look you in the face while speaking will get more attention than those who don't express themself in a nonverbal manner.

Always send out an agenda outline with time units to base the base of your meeting. Have someone take meeting minutes and have a time keeper.
Two big considerations for PowerPoint Presentations:
Less words for most slides because then the audience will focus on the instructor as explanations are made about the topic.
Use Presentation mode and make sure you face the audience.
As I can understand so far I was becoming defensive about someone's reactions and took too serious my mistakes. Healthy ways of communications are not about pointing out on weak parts of it but trying to understand each other and find solutions.

When a task/issue is at hand and you need your peers' support, clarification is key. Let everyone know your expectations and your deadline. Everyone has different priorities daily, and being clear on the task will help everyone realign their tasks for a smooth delivery.

I knew about the 3 types of learning styles, but i never realized that they would also be used like this in a managment way. Makes me realize the way policies were conveyed in former jobs werent nessasarely the correct way to go about policy changes.
I never realized how by breaking the proverbial "ice" with a group at the start of a presentation would grab attention like that, but looking back on all the good presentations that i have had I understand that that is how most of the great presentations ive sat through started. I really think finding some relative material to make a joke with to grab attention is a great way to start a presentation and personally I need to come up with a few.
I'll be folding some of these insights into my lessons while remembering to step back and better ensure that the messages are being received and understood

Proofreading is a powerful tool when drafting messages. Take the time to read the message from start to finish to make sure it conveys a clear, concise message before releasing.
Students must be able to receive constructive criticism. The critic I give to them will alway higlight their good thing the did, than where the can improve on.
