Consequences can lead to a school being placed on probation, loss of state approval, loss of accreditation, loss of Title IV eligibility

When we look at the far reaching potential consequences of non compliance, i.e., school closures, loss of jobs, negative impact on the economy, and moreover, distrust by our constituents, which is even harder to overcome, we are reminded of our awesome responsibility to always do the right thing.

It is very dangerous to misrepresent and I may lose my job.

Losing a student based on incorrect information provided can be the worst scenario because the trust of the student has been compromised.

To help avoid the consequences of noncompliance it is recommended that faculty and staff participate in training activities, review their institution's intranet, and read and understand their school’s policy and procedure manuals and handbooks.

It is also important to become familiar with the Administrative Code for your state.

It is important to be in compliance, so the potential student does not loose trust in the school and employee.

we must be transparent to the student in order for them to achieve success. we must make sure that everything we say is in compliance withe the school so we can foster trust.

Doing the right thing and providing accurate information to the student is important, we wouldn't want to put a terrible name on the school or ourselves.

Always be honest, with verifiable facts when talking to students. Misrepresentation can have severe consequences.
