Ethics and compliance are key in each role of the employees here at Ross. It's important for the student to be heard and listened to and also abide by all rules and regulations. We can never make false promises or insinuate an outcome. It's what makes working here an honorable place of employment and valued place for learning. 

As an Admissions Rep I try to paint a realistic picture about working in our industry to ensure a good fit and success.

If you having a conversation and happen to speak about the school is solution ? 

This has been a hot topic amongst reps i know.  If you personally feel a campus is in a unsafe area and surrounded by huge fences and barbwire is it wrong to tell a prospective student that if they are considering both schools?

I think it is important to abide by all the rules required to be employed. It reflects on your character and the integrity of the company. We need to treat people how we would like to be treated.

I am excited to get started with this company and learn more about this specific industry. I am hoping there is a lot of room for growth within the company. Please let me know if there is any advice you guys have for being successful.
 

In Admissions, Integrity is one of the cornerstones of compliance and should be adered to and practiced at all times. We are entrusted with the lives and futures of thousands of people looking to make a beter life for themselves and their families. I see this protocol as valuable because it weeds out those who may not be able to walk this fine line.

The Military Recruiting Command taught all of these same aspects of

being 100% ethical at all times.  My transitioning to the Education Industry was seamless.

Many students will research the type of accreditation when they are choosing a college to attend.      So true!

I would continue the process and see what unfolded with the prospect. If at the end of the admissions process, I had adequate evidence they would not succeed, then I could bring that to the department head and student.

I am new to this forum and look forward to communicating with other participants.

I feel students are overwhelmed enough. They need clear details of what to expect. i can remember not really knowing what was expected of me when I started school.

It's going to be important for us to maintain ethics and have what's truly best in mind for the students we work with. Because of many of our roles having quotas, there is a sales pressure often doled down by management to get the numbers in.

But sometimes that means it will be at the expense of the student and what's really right for them.

This is the biggest challenge when it comes to admissions.

Ethics isn't just about honesty with our programs and school offerings, it's about integrity. Don't be too surprised if you run into this quandry soon, or regularly. It'll be a personal choice at that point between you and God as to how you handle these things, and your job overall. Remember, they are not just students. They are individual people...someone's mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, spouse.

I like to have these renewal course.. It's always good to refresh on rules, and regulations. 

Although Iv'e been in Admissions for more than 13 years this course makes me feel like a legit permitted Admissions Advisor. thank You!
